Dr. Knox-Kazimierczuk's HEART Hub Research Lab focuses on lifestyle and behavior modification interventions to reduce the risk of chronic disease and improve health outcomes. We collaborate with a wide range of departments and organizations internally and externally to the University of Cincinnati. We are proud to partner with numerous local and state stakeholders aimed at improving the health outcomes of our residents in Hamilton County. Our goal is to see our community thrive!
HEAL for Pregnancy is an American Heart Assocation (AHA) funded community-based program partnering with AHA, CareSource, Produce Perks Midwest, La Soupe, and Cradle Connections to improve the birth outcomes of Black pregnant women across Hamilton County through social connection, cooking, eating, and stress reduction. The Women’s Health Equity Symposium is a USDA funded, project focused on addressing sex disparities through convening experts in women’s health and research through a 2-day symposium and year-long community of practice. The community of practice will serve as a space for collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and action-oriented discussions to drive meaningful change to improve the health of women.
